This is the title on New York Times published on October 28, 2008: the Christian Science Monitor will abandon print edition. The paper is currently published Monday through Friday, and will move to online only in April, although it will also introduce a weekend magazine.
John Yemma, editor of the Monitor, said that they have "the luxury — the opportunity — of making a leap that most newspapers will have to make in the next five years”. He said also that this is a new model of communication, and it's for this reason that he decided to abandon the print edition and move only to online edition.
The Monitor is a famous paper in USA and also in all world, it won seven Pulitzer Prizes, and it have a century of continuous publication.
